You can't miss the bright pink building as you pass through town on the main drag. The food is average, the service is good and the prices are decent. Not a ton of great choices in Cedar City but it's ok when your passing through town. The resturaunt needs a deep cleaning pretty bad.

With a large group the wait was a bit long, but the food was quite enjoyable. I had the Verde burrito Lunch Special.

Horrible food in an ugly pink building. Ordered a puffy chicken taco, got wilted lettuce and a "soupy" chicken mixture at the bottom. Went a second time to give them another chance and wasn't impressed. I advise going to Lupita's by Wal-Mart.

it was disgusting!! the salsa was blan I had to add extra salt and a different salsa to make it at least eatable. The un sweet tea tasted disgusting and I actually had to add sugar to it which normally we dont have to do. and if you want a second order of chips and salsa you have to pay extra for it and we never got any refills on our drinks. our service wasent great at all!!! at the end it was horrible, never going there again!!

This place just reopened with new management. It closed before we had a chance to try it before, but we were excited to try it now that it is open again. The decor is simple, nothing over the top, but nothing that really draws you in. The booth was comfortable and secluded, felt fairly private, which was nice. The staff was incredibly attentive, refilling drinks, chips, and salsa as soon as it started getting low. They brought the food out in a very timely manner, were very courteous and polite, and took wonderful care of us. As for the food. My husband ordered the mini carne asada tacos and the chicken quesedillas and enjoyed both thoroughly (he added salsa to the tacos for a bit more flavor). I ordered the two taco combo with shredded beef. It was less than thrilling. It was a majority lettuce, the beef had no seasoning, and I had to add salsa and salt to get any flavor out of it. The refried beans were good and the rice was hot. I don't recommend the beef tacos though. Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely be back, I'll just be ordering something different.

They are very accommodating to groups. They have a back room to fit parties in. We take the whole extended family and always have a good time. Great food! Love the chips and salsa. I love the burritos. The service is nice and fast. Never had a bad experience.

So this place just recently reopened and I will say it is amazing! The service is beyond quality with very attentive and friendly staff. For me the staff made sure I was constantly stocked with a full drink and chips and salsa while my party waited on the main meals. It was a nice change to not have to go out of my way to get the attention of a waiter/waitress. The chips and salsa were very good and had that kick to it that made me feel like I was back in southern California enjoying good Mexican cuisine. The meal portions were very generous with the amount of food supplied and were very delicious. The carne asada is a must try. Honestly the only thing I can say is that I wish that the Chicken Quesadilla on the appetizer menu was pulled or shredded chicken instead of grilled chicken, but I didn't ask ahead of time, so for that i cannot bring myself to make this a four star review. Regardless of what the reputation was like in the past, as of fall 2015 this place is a must try if you have time to eat something other than fast food. Booths are comfy, environment is friendly but not overly decorated, food is great and in large portions, fairly priced on all menu items. This was also not a one time experience as this is the second time in a week that I have gone there and it was the same positive experience each time. I will definitely be returning again in the future!

If I could rate this less than one star, I would. I ordered the carne asada and it came out on a boiling hot plate. The steak still had a thick layer of fat on it and I literally couldn't cut it myself. My boyfriend had to cut it for me. I had one bite and it was tough and flavorless. I asked the server to take it back and I apologized for not enjoying it. He left with it and never came back to the table and didn't offer me anything else. We had to go up to the front to pay for our meal and he tried charging us for both meals even though I didn't eat it. When I asked him to take the extra charge off, he through a fit and told me that I needed to pay for it because I ate part of it. I told him that we wouldn't be paying for it because I only had one bite of it and sent it back, again apologizing unnecessarily for not enjoying the food. Then he told me that he didn't understand why was having an "attitude" with him and asked why I didn't ordered anything else. I told him, "it's your job to ask me if I want to order something else." I have worked in the restaurant industry for 7+ years. I have never had worse service. This business is more worried about saving $3 on food costs instead of worrying about their customers. Pathetic.

Good service, and very good food. True Mexican style, not Taco Bell. I would recommend it to any lover of Mexican food.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
